It is with great pleasure I write this testimony. My daughter failed her Global Studies Regents in June of 2014 with a score of 62. However, she passed the class. So she had to take the Global Regents again without a class.  At the same time, she had been promoted to take U.S. History. In September 2014 Mr. Vieira sat with us to discuss the challenges ahead with taking US History course in school and studying for the global regents without having the course as a way to review. Mr. Vieira individualized a plan that taught her different techniques to breakdown each component of the exam.  My daughter really needed confidence.  He also allowed her to work independently and only coached her on topics that she didn’t understand.  She never seemed stressed out. With hard work and determination she walked into that exam room full of confidence.  On her retake in January 2015 she passed with an exceptional score of 84.
